Leadership Matters: Why Florida Families Deserve Solutions, Not Distractions
As I talk with voters across Florida’s 12th Congressional District, I hear the same concerns over and over again.
People are worried about the cost of housing.

They’re worried about homeowners insurance.
They’re worried about healthcare costs.
They’re worried about whether Social Security and Medicare will be there when they need them.
They’re worried about whether their children and grandchildren will have the same opportunities they had.
What I don’t hear is people asking for more political theater.
This week has been another reminder that too much of Washington is focused on distractions while families, farmers, and small businesses need solutions. Recent national discussions and actions by the Trump administration have centered on controversies creating economic chaos and uncertainty, international conflicts, and trade disputes that create real consequences for American families and businesses.
The people of Florida’s 12th District deserve better.
Real Leadership Focuses on Real Problems
Leadership is not about grabbing headlines.
Leadership is not about creating controversy.
Leadership is not about dividing people.
Leadership is about solving problems.
As a former small business owner, retired financial planner, and former Hillsborough County Commissioner, I’ve spent my career working through complex challenges, balancing budgets, and bringing people together to find practical solutions.
That’s what public service should be about.
When families are struggling with affordability, Congress should be focused on lowering costs.
When seniors are worried about retirement security, Congress should be protecting Social Security and Medicare.
When veterans need access to healthcare and benefits, Congress should be honoring the promises we’ve made to those who served.
When working families are trying to build a better future, Congress should be helping them succeed.
The Stakes for Florida
The choices being made in Washington have real consequences.
Trade disputes affect jobs, consumers, and local businesses. International instability impact our economy, military readiness, and national security. Political dysfunction makes it harder to address the challenges families face every day.
Here in Tampa Bay, voters are far more interested in solutions than partisan talking points.
They want safer communities.
They want affordable healthcare.
They want strong public schools.
They want infrastructure that works.
They want an economy that rewards hard work.
And they want an elected official who remembers that public office is about serving the people. They don’t have that now in Florida Congressional District 12. They have a puppet.
A Different Kind of Leadership
I’ve built this campaign around a simple principle:
Leadership Matters.
Leadership that listens.
Leadership that tells the truth.
Leadership that brings people together instead of pulling them apart.
Leadership that is accountable to voters, not special interests.
That’s why our grassroots campaign doesn’t take corporate PAC money.
That’s why we’re traveling throughout the district meeting voters where they are.
That’s why we’re focused on issues that matter in people’s daily lives.
The people of Florida’s 12th District deserve a representative who will show up, listen, and fight for them every single day.
The Choice This November
This election is bigger than any one candidate.
It’s about what kind of leadership we want in our communities, in Congress, and in our country.
We can continue down a path of division, distraction, and political games.
Or we can choose practical problem-solving, accountability, and results.
I believe voters are ready for leadership that listens.
I believe they’re ready for solutions.
And I believe they’re ready for a new generation of representation that puts people ahead of politics.
Together, we can make that happen.
Because leadership matters.
And so does your voice.
